The Year of Tolkien is a book club and slow read that is designed for readers who want to read more of Tolkien’s works at their own pace. There’s no pressure here to push yourself to keep up or read ahead. I’m guiding subscribers through each text with introductory posts and deep dive posts so there will always be help, guidance, and reading prompts along the way.
We’re reading intentionally slowly and thoughtfully with scheduled breaks and reminders to go connect with nature, journal, and enjoy a slow paced reading of J.R.R. Tolkien’s works. It’s never too late to subscribe and you can join at any time, for any of the different segments throughout the year!
